BestAnonymousCasinos.com analysed PL stadium attendance data from TransferMkt, & found Man United to have the highest levels of attendance in the last 10 years of the Premier League.
On average, the Red Devils had 99.30% of Old Trafford filled to capacity going back to the 2013/14 season.
Man United most loyal Premier League fanbase
Erik ten Hag’s side beat Arsenal to top spot, with the Gunners boasting a return of 98.80%. Chelsea finished in third (98.70%) with Everton claiming fourth (97.90%).
United coming out on top also means they have bragging rights over rivals Manchester City and Liverpool – with the latter placing 6th.
The Reds are often widely recognised as having the most loyal and passionate fan base in the world, so their lowly finish is a small surprise.
Ipswich Fans are the least loyal to their club, in the PL
However, northern sides in general have proven their loyalty over the last ten years. Five of the top seven all hail from the upper regions of the country.
At the other end of the table, newly-promoted Ipswich Town finish up in 20th place with a score of 68.50%. Which is in fact over 30% off of Manchester United’s figure.
Fulham and Wolves complete the bottom three, with Brighton, Aston Villa and Southampton also finishing up in the bottom half of the table.
Methodology
To determine which Premier League clubs had the most loyal fan bases, we analyzed the average attendance figures on TransferMkt – for each club over a span of ten seasons.
We totaled these attendances and divided them by the stadium capacities over the same period to calculate an average percentage that reflects fan loyalty.
* We excluded the 2020/21 season owing to the fact that Premier League teams were only allowed to permit a restricted number of fans.
